Top of the mornin to you! I am the last stop on this fun St. Patty's Day themed blog hop. You should have come from Julie's blog, but if you just happened to stop by today and want to see what you missed, start here!
Haven't the projects today been so fun and inspiring?? I really enjoy making St. Patty's Day themed projects and was excited to use one of the new sentiments from Pink by Design! There were so many options for projects to make, but I decided on a candy holder. This entire project was done without any type of electric cutting machine so it would be easy for anyone to make.
The sentiment I chose says "Wishing you Rainbows and Sunshine" from the "Rain or Shine" set. I thought it would work great for my candy holder.
I started with a 4x12 sheet of green card stock and folded it in half (use a bone folder to make it a crisp fold).
Then, I took my crop-a-dile corner chomper and snipped the edges opposite the fold to give it a nice curve.
I then folded one end of my paper down about 1 1/4 inches and again used the bone folder to make it lay down. I stamped the sentiment on that fold. I had some green polka dotted paper in my stash and I just measured it to fit on the main portion of the holder (4 x 3 3/4).
To make the clover, I went back to my elementary school days and folded a piece of paper in half and cut half of a heart 3 times. The stem was hand cut out of the same card stock. I popped up the clover with pop dots and glued the stem down flat. I inked around the entire base and the clovers with a gold Colorbox ink pad, added some Pink by Design twine and a few dots of gold stickles to finish it off.
I thought it would be fun to make the candy look like an actual rainbow, and Skittles are perfect for this! I put the skittles in 1x8 bags that I get from www.gtbags.com and they slid into the holder perfectly!
Here are a couple up close views..
This would make a great gift for anyone! It is even small enough to fit in a lunchbox ;-)
Now it is your turn to show us a "green" themed project. Head on back to the Pink by Design Blog and link up your projects! We would love to see some more inspiration!
Thanks for hopping by today,
~Rebekah

Super Simple Layout
Happy Monday Everyone!
I am so behind on the scrapbooks I have been putting together for my two little boys! Slowly but surely I am catching up. I started with scrapbooks that were 8x8 thinking they would be easier, but I am finding that I can fit a lot more pictures in 12x12 layouts. This is my last 8x8 layout that I did for my oldest. Nothing really fancy but I like how it showcases the pictures. The sentiment is from Pink by Design and I used a couple different paper punches to finish it off!
I am finding that sometimes simple is better. I am definitely looking forward to doing 12x12 layouts from now on!
Have a great day!

Wishing you Rainbows and Sunshine
Hi Everyone,
My little guys were invited to a little girl's 5th birthday party this weekend and it is a Rainbow theme. I went to the silhouette store and found this adorable pre-designed card that is exactly what I was looking for! I used all Recollections card stock and embossed the clouds with my Cuttlebug. The "Look Who's 5" sentiment is from Pink by Design's stamp set "Take the Cake", and the inside is from the set "Rain or Shine".
I have been under the weather and love how quickly this card came together!
Isn't the sentiment perfect for this card :-)
Have a great day,
Rebekah

"Fishing" you a happy birthday!
Hi Everyone,
Today I have a fun birthday card for you. I saw this adorable fish and balloon set in the silhouette store and new it would go perfect with one of my Pink by Design Sentiments! Click here if you would like to see what other stamps come with this set! So many possibilities!!
For this card I used all Recollections card stock. The base is a piece of black card stock cut to 5x10 and then I folded it in half to get a 5x5 base. I ran the blue card stock through my cuttlebug to give it more texture and inked the sand, fish and balloon with brown ink. I used my white gel pen to faux stitch around the border of the card, stamped my sentiment and finished it off with twine from Pink by Design that you can find here.

"Thanks!"
Hi Everyone,
Now that all this Valentine's day madness is over I have a simple card for you from the silhouette store. I love to give "thank you" cards because I feel like it is really important to let others know they are appreciated.
This card came together quickly! All the pieces came with the kit and I just had to add the brad and ribbon! I am amazed at how well the silhouette cuts even the smallest letters! The striped paper is "Recollections" and is a little fragile to use in a machine but I was able to make it work. I find that some papers do really well and others are going to rip no matter what.
I actually finished this card a couple of weeks ago and was saving it to post for a day like today! I have been helping some friends out the last couple of weeks with childcare and I have 5 extra kids plus my 2 today. This does not allow me much time in my craft room! After today it will be much better! I am working on a bunch of projects to share with you and I will be showcasing a lot of Pink by Design's stamps to help give you a little inspiration!
Have a beautiful day,
~Rebekah

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
Our countdown is over! Valentine's day is here and I am still not done making little treats for the special people in my life. I am hoping to bust out a few more things while my boys nap :-)
Here are a few things I have been working on the last couple of days. This first card I did completely by hand. I saw this idea in Scrapbooks etc... magazine. I thought it was cute and it was pretty easy to do.
This is just a standard size A2 card that I hand cut a circle out of. I used some thread I had in a traveling sewing kit and attached it with my ATG gun. I used a punch for the hearts.
Here is the inside of the card with the most important part, the CANDY!!
I put together a little gift full of goodies for my sweet husband. I am so proud of him. He works hard and is an amazing daddy and friend... I decided to make a little tag to go on his Orange Crush that says "I've got a crush on you!" I found the "Crush" on the internet and shrunk it down, printed it off and cut it out. It didn't take very long and adds a fun touch!
And last but not least, this is the little gift I did for my dad. He is on a diet and didn't want any candy but I had to get him something because he is the best grandpa ever to my two little boys. He said that he loves almonds and so I decided to decorate the can for him :-) The nuts are a cut from the silhouette store and I hand wrote on the tag. I didn't use my machine much on these because (to be quite honest) my craft room looks like a tornado went through it and I couldn't get to it that easily, LOL!
The winner of the blog hop this weekend is........

"Love my Cameo" Blog Hop
Hi Everyone!
I am so excited today to be part of this fun blog hop! When Sarah over at Pink Cricut asked if I would join her and Amy Chomas in a Silhouette Cameo inspired blog hop, I was thrilled!! I love my Cameo!! If you asked me to pick my favorite feature, I couldn't. I love everything about it!
If you have come from Kelly over at http://findingtimetocreate.blogspot.com/, then you are in the right place. You definitely want to start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss a thing!!
It was so hard for me to pick just one project because the silhouette has so much it can do! That being said, I combined two of it's features :-) I decided to put a couple of 3D projects together from the Silhouette Store and then use the "Print and Cut" feature to finish it off.
The 3D designs in the store are so easy to assemble and look beautiful when they are done. I started with the 3D Toolbox, but I left the handle off so I had more room inside. I decided I wanted to fill it with these beautiful 3D strawberries, which I filled with candy! I used my Silhouette studio to change the sizes up to what I wanted and then ran them through my Cuttlebug to give them the look of real strawberries. I used my cuttlebug on the leaves also and inked the edges just to add a little bit more detail to them. The strawberries come together with twine or ribbon and took no time to put together. The smaller ones are a perfect fit for Hershey Kisses ;-)
The tag is a "Print and Cut" feature of the silhouette. I made it the size I wanted in the studio and printed it on my printer. The Silhouette reads the registration marks and cuts it out perfectly! I hand wrote the sentiment to go with my strawberries and LOVE how it turned out!
Here is a detailed view of the leaves...
...and here is the tag! The silhouette cut it out perfectly!!
It wouldn't be a blog hop without some type of blog candy now would it?! If you become a follower and leave a comment on what your favorite thing about the cameo is so far, I will send one lucky follower all the cuts I used to make this kit (embossed and inked also) so you can make this project and see how easy it is to put together (even if you don't own the cameo...yet)! Plus, a picture never does it justice and it does look even more delicious in person! Make sure you leave a way for me to get a hold of you :-)
I am now going to send you on your way to the super talented Gaby!
If you get lost along the way, here is a list of everyone in the blog hop!
Thank you for visiting me today!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day10)
Happy Friday Everyone!
My boys are feeling a little bit better today and I was able to get into my craft room for a few minutes. Yesterday, I saw a deal on one of the coupon sites for 5 clothespin chalkboard holders for $5. I thought to myself, that would be so easy to do!
Supplies I used
~ clothespins
~ Valentine's day paper
~ Modge Podge
~Chipboard
~Chalkboard vinyl
~Glue Gun
~ATG Gun
~Magnet
I cut the paper to fit the top of the clothespin and modge podged it on. When it was almost dry, I used a nail file to file down any excess paper along the edges. I used my rotary cutter to cut chipboard into a rectange and adhered matching paper to it with my atg gun. I then used my rotary cutter to cut chalkboard vinyl a little smaller than the rectangle and stuck it right on. I attached the chipboard to the clothespin with a glue gun and then used the glue gun to adhere the magnet to the back!
Super Easy and I love how they turned out! I am going to make one for each of my boys to display their "artwork" and maybe a few others to organize things around the house :-)
I am going to pin a picture of my boys on this one ;-)

Sick day!
Hi Everyone,
Well, is seems the sicky bugs have hit my house and I have my hands full with two very sick little boys! They just want to cuddle on the couch which I am totally enjoying, just wish they would feel better! I have not had a chance to put together a Valentine project for today but I do have a kitchen project I did a few weeks ago that I would like to share with you.
I found this cookie sheet at the dollar store and new I could do something with it! I found the pretty paper at JoAnn's and got to work. I originally tried to modge podge this to the cookie sheet and it DID NOT work! It was bubbling up and moving all over the place (might have something to do with it being non-stick). I washed it off and started over. I used my atg gun to stick it down and tried to modge podge a little over it and it still bubbled so I just left the top alone.
I then used my cameo to cut some chalkboard vinyl and the word "menu" at the top. The magnet I used was just a plain one from Hobby Lobby. I cut my matching paper to fit the circle and modge podged it on. I waited for it to dry and then put a layer of "glossy accents" to give it a clear bubbled effect.
I have this on the counter in my kitchen and change it every sunday with our new Menu :-)
Oh, before I forget...
I also wanted to let all my followers know that I am going to be in a Cameo Blog Hop this Saturday!! Make sure you come by and check out all of the amazing projects created by some super talented ladies!! Your first stop will be Amy Chomas so come check it out Saturday morning!
Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day8)
Hi Everyone!
Today I have a cute little gable box cut from the silhouette store. The Tweety bird is a print and cut also from the silhouette store. I couldn't believe how fast this came together! I hand wrote the tag and added the fun little heart brad!
Perfect to hold candy or small gift!
Sorry this is so short and late today. I am watching 7 kids ages four and under today to help friends out!! My husband was sweet enough to stay home and help me and we were still running crazy! Half of them are sick and it has just been a non-stop insane day!! :-)
Hope you all are having a wonderful hump day!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day7)
Hi Everyone,
Yesterday, Silhouette's online store released some new images. As soon as I saw this little container I had to try it out! For some reason, every time I think of an owl, I assume it's a "he". No idea why!! So I set out to make my owl look like a girl :-) I love how the feathers are dimensional to give it a little more detail. I inked around the edges and finished "her" off with a bow and rhinestone! I am going to fill her up with a paper pad and pencil to keep in my kitchen for little notes. She makes a cute little valentine decoration but also serves a purpose!
Isn't she cute!!
Yesterday, I posted a picture of one of the wine glasses I etched for a friend. I finished all of them and really think they turned out great. Glass etching looks so classy!
These make such a wonderful gift!
Have a beautiful day!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day 6)
Hi Everyone,
This week I have a full house because I am watching some friends little ones to help them out! Today I have 5 kids under 4 and on Wednesday I will have 7 kids under 4! I know, I obviously didn't completely think this through!! :-)
Here is just a quick idea for valentine's day and you can use your cricut or silhouette machine. I am working on an order of 6 of these for an Anniversary Party. I cut a stencil of an "M" using vinyl and my silhouette. The friend I am doing it for had a font in mind so it was perfect for my silhouette studio. Glasses are a little tricky as I am finding out because the vinyl doesn't want to lay perfectly on the curved surface but I still think they look classy!
I think it makes a beautiful, personal gift that you know will be used! You could even fill them with chocolates and give to a favorite teacher!
Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day 3)
Hi Everyone!
Today I have a card that technically isn't a Valentine's Day theme but the colors still work ;-) A few posts ago, I showed you some aprons and cake mix gift I had finished for a birthday party this weekend. Well, I found this shape card on Silhouette and adapted it to work for a birthday card! The Hello Kitty is actually cut right out of the invitation for the party! As usual the sentiment is from Pink by Design :-)
I love how well zebra print and pink goes together! I think the Birthday girls will love it ;-)
Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Countdown (day 2)
Hi Everyone,
It's day 2 of our countdown to Valentine's Day and I have an adorable project for you! One of my favorite designers of silhouette cuts is Lori Whitlock! She designs adorable projects that are so easy to cut and put together.
Today, I decided to put together the cute chapstick holder she designed. I just grabbed some paper that I have had in my stash forever and it came together really quick! The heart tag on the front is a print and cut design and I used my scalloped paper punch to for a little background color.
Here is the side view so you can see the chapstick tucked away
...and the front view!
There are so many possibilities for these little holders. They would make fun party favors for parties or showers! They take less than a half sheet of paper to make so very inexpensive as well. I have a friend who is addicted to chap stick, so I just might have to gift this one to her for Valentine's Day ;-)
Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!
Can you believe that we are in February already? Where does the time go?! I thought it would be fun to have a Valentine's Day Countdown! Everyday leading up to Valentine's Day, I will post a "LOVE" themed project.
To start it off, I have a picture frame that I found at Michaels for $1! I painted it with white acrylic paint (took 3 coats) and waited for it to dry thoroughly. I then used my silhouette to cut out the intricate heart design on red vinyl. I had a little bit of trouble getting it to stick, but once it was on there it stayed. I then added a few rhinestones to the inside of the heart for a little sparkle!
I wanted to keep this frame simple so I just added some black ribbon and used a heart shaped brad to attach it. The sentiment is from Pink by Design.
I really like how it turned out and that it really only cost about $1! Might use this idea and make a frame for every holiday ;-)
Have a great day!
~Rebekah
