A quick "Secretary's Week" card

Hi Everyone

I was asked to make a card this week for our church secretary for Secretary's Week! I was looking through my stamps to see if I had anything that would work and found this Sentiment from "Pink by Design". This is one of her first sets called "Simply Everything". I found the scissors on the "Simply Charmed" Cartridge and loved the way pink, silver, and black go together. Of course had to add just a little bling :-)

Have a great day!

Farm themed shaped birthday album

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you and album I started back in November but just finished this past week. My son turned 3 in November and his birthday was at a farm. I thought it would be fun to make him an album in the shape of a barn and put all of his pictures in there for him to enjoy. He loves looking through it!

The barn is cut from the create a critter cartridge. I made the cow print paper using white cardstock and free hand cutting the black spots. On the last page, I wrote him a little note describing his party and pasted his actual invite on the last page to have it all in one place.

I used my bind it all to hold it all together!

Have a great day!!

Birthday Card!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Birthday to my Amazing husband!! I love him so much and he is so supportive of my crafting hobby!

I have been trying to figure out what kind of card to make him (guys are so difficult!) and just haven't settled on anything yet. While I was trying to figure something out, I put this card together off of the "Birthday Bash" Cartridge. I haven't decided if I am going to give this one to him. If not, he has a twin brother I can give it to, so it will still all work out ;-)

Have a Happy Day!

Baby Shower gift card

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to show you a quick and simple gift tag I made for a baby shower gift. I used the Birthday Bash cartridge for the tag and embossed it with my cuttlebug hearts folder. The baby carriage is from Simply Charmed and I had a few heart brads in my collection to put on the wheels and through the ribbon at the top. The little tag is also from Birthday Bash and the sentiment is "Pink by Design" Scripted year!

I usually do cards but have so many cute cuts for tags that I wanted to try it out :-)

Have a great day!

Fun Gift Idea!

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite crafty gifts to give, Anti-bacterial lotion holders! I love these because they are so simple to make and can be decorated for any occasion. I first found the idea over at Pink buckaroo designs and have made them for many occasions.

Here is one I just made for a new friend who has a birthday coming up this weekend:

These little anti-bacterials lotions can be found at Bath and Body Works. They are themed for what ever holiday is coming up and smell really good! These make a great gift for teachers!! I even made one for Christmas and gave it to my kid's pediatrician. She loved it and was touched that I took the time to make her something.

If you don't have time to make them yourself, I do sell them for $4 each (including the lotion) Just email me at calbekah@aol.com to order :-)

Have a great day!!

Birthday Thank You Card

Hi Everyone,

A few weeks ago, my little guy turned 2. We had a Disney Cars birthday party and it was a blast (see previous post for all the details!) Now it is time to send out all the thank you's for the wonderful gifts he received. Because most of the cuts on the Cars Cartridge are so intricate and time consuming, I decided to modify one. I used the sign that is on the front of Mater's impound lot. I used my gypsy to delete "Tow Mater's" and then used Cuttin up to put "Thank you" instead! Super easy and it was still within the Cars theme!! I cut them at 5 inches and they cut really easy!

Have a great day!
