A Simple Sympathy Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have a quick card to show you. Someone in our church just lost her husband this past week and I wanted to make a sympathy card for her and her family. Sympathy cards are the hardest for me because I never want to over embellish and take away the focus of the message inside.

I used my gypsy and Storybook cartridge to create this super simple card. I love how the black makes it stand out just enough from the blue without taking over the whole card. I used "Pink by Designs Scripted Year" for the sentiment.

Also, I never heard back from the second name that I drew so this is what I have decided to do. Leave a comment on this post with a way to get a hold of you. Tomorrow evening I will use Random.org to pick a winner of the "Pink by Design" Stamps. I really didn't think it would be this difficult to do a giveaway :-)

Have a wonderful Friday!

Rebekah

Looks great, Bekah! I agree that the simplicity of the card makes it very respectful.
