Cricutters Anonymous Eggcellent Challenge

For this challenge we could make something for Easter or Spring. This is a card I made to give to my secret sister. I am really beginning to like these Stair step cards! I used plantin schoolbook for the grass and the eggs. I had to use the design studio to transform the circles into ovals for the eggs. I used Cuttin up for the letters and New Arrival for the bunny. I made each of the eggs stand out by using my cuttlebug to emboss each of them a little differently. I then finished it off with stickles to make the lettering really stand out. Hope you liked it!

P.S. Was there ever a top 3 for the Man Challenge?

Just Buggin project for a man

I know this project is supposed to be for a man and since my Little man is turning one this week I thought this would count! I make a stair step card using plantin schoolbook for the grass, New Arrival for the animals, Potpourri cartridge for the palm tree and cutting up for the letters which I welded using the design studio. This turned out super cute and matched his birthday theme and colors perfectly!

Just Buggin Going Green Challenge

This weeks challenge was to make a project using green! I am part of a Secret Sister gift exchange throughout the year at my church and so I decided to make a card and gift bag for her. She is getting married in a couple of weeks so I decided to give it a love/st. patty's day twist. I didn't have any cartridges with shamrocks or anything :-( so I cut three hearts using plantin School book and put them together to make a shamrock! I free cut the stem. Since I used hearts, I thought it would be perfect to put gold coins (circles cut from plantin) with the Lucky in Love! The gift bag I did the same thing. I covered and old brown bag with green paper, decorative paper, and the shamrock I cut and used Cuttin up for her name. I then finished it off with some ribbon along the handle. I think she will love it!

Just Buggin Card feature Challenge

I used my Wild Card cartridge to make this Bandaid Card! I know that bandaids normally don't have ribbon and buttons but I just couldn't resist! My favorite part about Wild Card is the fact that they have matching envelopes! TIP: Cut your envelope first (fit to page) and see how big it is. Then you can cut your card and everything the same size! If you don't, there is a lot of trial and error!

Just Buggin embossing challenge

Normally, I am on top of things when it comes to getting my challenges done early but I got hit with the stomach bug the last few days and just now got enough energy to move into my craft room! I used my storybook cartridge for the "spring" and the butterfly. For the embossing, I used my newly acquired Cuttlebug (which I absolutely love!!!). For the background I used the circles embossing folder and for the flowers along "spring" and "is here" I used the Frills embossing border. I finished it off with a flower and ribbon to tie together my spring theme!
