Valentine's Day Gift Idea!
Hi Everyone!
I am really excited to show you a gift I have been working on for the past few days! I wanted to make something special for my husband this year, and as soon as I found this frame (on clearance at Hobby Lobby!) I knew what I wanted to do!
Here is the before:
This is a metal frame that was marked down to $5 and I knew that vinyl would stick really well to it. I wanted to remind my husband everyday how much I love him, so I thought I could add some chalkboard vinyl with the exact amount of days! The font I used is Playball and I found the hearts in the silhouette store. I used Pink by design Twine and some heart embellishments to finish it off. I love how I can keep changing the days as I go!
Here it is after:

Isn't this a fun idea!! I am going to keep it next to his side of the bed so he sees it everyday. Click HERE to see the website I used to find out how many days it had been since I fell for my sweet guy :-)

Be Merry!
Happy Wednesday!
Over at Pink by Design, we are continuing our week of Gift Tag Inspiration! Today's technique is using Shrinky Dinks!! If you would like to see the tutorial, head on over here!!
This was my first time using shrinky dinks, and I wanted to try the new PBD stamp set called "Trendy Alpha". I used a Staz on ink pad and stamped them out on the film. They shrink down in the oven to this cute little size!!
The tag and reindeer are from the Silhouette Store and the twine is from Pink by Design! I LOVE this stamp set because I can make any words I want!! Now that I have figured out Shrinky dinks, I can shrink them down to this smaller size when needed!! I used my snowflake cuttlebug folder for the background to add a little more detail.
Don't forget to come on over this week and link up with us for the Gift Tag challenge! Entries must be in by Saturday Night 11:59 p.m. CST. Click here to link up!!

Melisa's Crafty Creations Blog Hop
Hi Everyone,
I am honored to be part of this fun blog hop today to celebrate Melisa's one year blogiversary! ( Not sure that is a word, but it works!) :-) I am your last stop on this halloween/fall themed hop! Remember to leave a comment on each blog in order to have a chance to win some prizes.
Here is the order for the hop:
Anna www.stampanna.com
Elizabeth www.217Creations.com
Jeanne www.jeannespapercrafts.com
Rebekah http:// craftyteachermom.blogspot.com/ --------- That's me!
I have had a $1 frame from Michael's laying around forever, so I decided to spruce it up for Halloween. I modge podges some paper from the Trick or Treat Stack from The Paper Studio, found all my cuts in the silhouette store and had these cute little faces from Peachy Keen Stamps! The "Boo To You" sentiment is from one of the first sets ever released by Pink by Design. I strung the banner together with some PBD twine and added a couple decorative brads from Hobby Lobby.
I added this to my Halloween decor and will update it each year with a current picture :-)
Thanks for hopping with us today!

Pink by Design Challenge 10, 11 and 12
Whew!!
Is everyone else as exhausted as I am?!?! I decided to write the last three challenges all in one post. Challenge #10 is the challenge I created called "Go Wild"! I made a layout from our trip to the zoo!
Click here for all the details of this challenge and layout!
The next challenge is a Single Layer Card. I realized that I don't have any background stamps (I am going to have to do something about that!!) I did have this little gift stamp and sentiment from Take the Cake and It's a Wrap 2. It's really simple but would make a cute little card to stick to a gift!
The final challenge of the day is "Inspiration is Everywhere". You are supposed to find something in your home and use it to inspire your project. Well, after being locked up in my craft room all day, my kids had a great time tearing through the house and leaving quite a mess!! (My husband was with them but there is only so much you can do). I decided to use my kids as my inspiration for this card, LOL!
They can be like a crazy tornado but at least they have fun and I enjoy them immensely!! Find Joy Everyday is from the set "Enjoy the Journey"!
Here are my two little tornadoes!! They were more than happy to hold the project they inspired, LOL!
I hope you enjoyed the challenges today!! Made sure you join us 8p.m. CST for the U-stream! We are going to let you know if you are one of our lucky winners!! Lots of prizes!!

Pink by Design Challenge #8
Hello!
This challenge is to use a ribbon or make a bow. I decided to use the PBD twine and the Everyday Banners stamp set for this cute recipe card holder. The cuts are from the Silhouette online store! I tied the twine into a bow so I think that counts ;-)
Here is a yummy recipe for crockpot S'mores!

More St. Paddy's Day inspiration
Hey Everyone,
I am really trying to post everyday but can't seem to get everyone in my house healthy at the same time! I have been in my craft room making lots of things but just haven't had a chance to take pictures of them to get up here on my blog. I just wanted to share with you a couple more things I have altered to fit in with St. Paddy's Day!
The first is this candle holder I received for Valentine's day! I added some fun ribbon, a shamrock from the silhouette store, a button and Pink by Design twine to give it a new look for this month! So many possibilities from month to month :-)
For another project I took an empty blueberry container and turned it into a little treat box for a friend. There aren't any treats in it yet because I haven't been able to get to the store, but I am heading out soon! I trimmed some patterned paper down to fit on top and added another shamrock from the silhouette store. I am loving buttons and twine right now so I added those and then hand wrote the sentiment!
I love re-purposing things around the house to make fun gifts and decor! Before you throw something out, think twice! :-)

St. Paddy's Day Wreath
Happy Monday Everyone!
Spring is already in full swing here in Arizona. We are going to be in the 80's for most of the week and I have been getting my house ready for the warmer weather! Last month I bought a wreath from Hobby Lobby and decorated it for Valentine's Day. This month I decided to re-decorate it for St. Paddy's Day.
The shamrocks are from the silhouette store and I spruced them up with some buttons, pink by design twine and the "good luck" sentiment also from Pink by Design. What I love about this is that it was really inexpensive! I had all of these supplies on hand ;-)
Have a wonderful day,

"A Happy Hello"
Happy Wednesday!
Yesterday was my turn to post a project over at Pink by Design and I wanted to share my project with you all today!
I wanted to make a card for my sweet friend, but wanted to make it extra special. She loves to read, and I thought it would be a fun idea to attach a bookmark to her card!
The bookmark is attached by a perforated line that I put in using my silhouette studio! If you would like all of the details on how to make this fun card, click here!
Check back tomorrow for a fun decor idea!
