Hi Everyone,
Last week was my brother and sister in-laws anniversary and I wanted to do a little something for them. My sister in-law is a huge Disney fan so I thought it would be fun to etch their initials on champagne glasses. I used my Silhouette studio software to import the mickey ears, and put their initials inside using the Waltograph font. I cut it out on vinyl, adhered it to the glass and added my etching cream. Ten minutes later, it was ready! I added bows just for a fun touch and put them in a gift bag with a bottle of Sparkling cider! They Loved them :-)

Valentine's Day Countdown (day 6)
Hi Everyone,
This week I have a full house because I am watching some friends little ones to help them out! Today I have 5 kids under 4 and on Wednesday I will have 7 kids under 4! I know, I obviously didn't completely think this through!! :-)
Here is just a quick idea for valentine's day and you can use your cricut or silhouette machine. I am working on an order of 6 of these for an Anniversary Party. I cut a stencil of an "M" using vinyl and my silhouette. The friend I am doing it for had a font in mind so it was perfect for my silhouette studio. Glasses are a little tricky as I am finding out because the vinyl doesn't want to lay perfectly on the curved surface but I still think they look classy!
I think it makes a beautiful, personal gift that you know will be used! You could even fill them with chocolates and give to a favorite teacher!
Have a great day!

My First Glass Etching project!
Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! One of my resolutions is to do a much better job keeping up with my blog. I was out of town the entire first week of January so this is my first post of the New Year!
I have been wanting to try glass etching for awhile but was afraid that I would mess it up so I kept holding off. Well, I found a cute jar with lid at Walmart and wanted to fill it with homemade cookies for a sweet friend of mine. She LOVES anything Disney so I decided to try my hand at etching Mickey ears onto the jar.
I used vinyl to make the stencil and put plenty of etching cream on, waited ten minutes and washed it off! I was amazed at how well it turned out!
Happy New Year!!
~Rebekah
